WAT a Run 2024: A Phenomenal Success!
We are thrilled to announce that the second annual WAT a Run event was a tremendous success, thanks to the incredible support and participation from our community. Over the two-day event on May 11th and 12th, we not only met but exceeded our fundraising goal, raising well over £20,000 for our 'Bed & Breakfast' campaign.
This campaign is a vital part of our long-term initiative to ensure that all young people in our schools have a bed to sleep in at home and breakfast when they come to school. The funds raised during this year's event will go a long way in supporting this mission, providing essential resources for our students.
The WAT a Run 2024 was designed to be inclusive and accommodating for participants of all fitness levels, and it showed in the diverse group of runners who joined us. With routes of varying distances, manageable paces, and continuous support from our dedicated team, everyone could participate comfortably and safely. Our support vehicle was on hand at all times, offering refreshments and first aid, ensuring a secure and enjoyable experience for all.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who took part, donated, and supported us in various ways. Your involvement has made a significant impact, and we look forward to continuing this journey together.
